PERSONALITY ▸

FOREIGN - Thaiel Bernaldez, more commonly known as Taco, is the shiny new play thing at the Academy of Magic. Hailing all the way from Spain, Thaiel was all to glad to escape the raging sea of estrogen he'd been swimming in for the first fifteen years of his life. With his six sisters, mother, and no father for more than two weeks, Thaiel was always in the center of his sisters' various boyfriend troubles, and the main target for makeovers whenever anyone in the house was bored. Needless to say, he was ecstatic to get out of the house and begin exploring on his own. However, being the foreign kid in the middle of the United States of America is no easy task. Though he can understand the english language fairly well, he still has quite a few problems with pronunciation, and American pop culture.

SHY - If there is one thing Thaiel absolutely hates, it's stepping passed his comfort zone. He may make a fantastic shoulder to cry on, he's shit at making friends, mostly because he hates opening his mouth and speaking to people he doesn't know. Once you reach out to him, though, Thaiel can be quite the blabbermouth. Being from another country, however, Thaiel doesn't like stepping out into uncharted waters. Instead, he likes the comforts of his own home - or rather, his own dorm - and lets the friends come to him. Which isn't exactly hard, seeing as he's hot and foreign.

SPASTIC - Once you get to know Thaiel, and learn to understand what he's saying underneath that thick (and sometimes obnoxious) Spanish accent, you'll find one stupid-ass kid. One may be rather surprised when they get to know him, that Thaiel isn't as quiet as he seems. He's quite nearly the opposite, really. Clumsy, klutzy, and overall retarded, Thaiel has a difficult time keeping his footing, even while walking down a straight path, and has a great difficulty in keeping his mind on one single track. He's also quite hyperactive, but most people just assume it's from alcohol consumption.

DUMBASS - He may swear up and down that he gets terrible grades because he's foreign, but Thaiel really doesn't try too hard when it comes to the academic part of school. He's in it for the cool magic tricks they teach at the Academy rather than the mathematical equations he's supposed to memorize.

SWEETHEART - Thaiel may frequently trip over his own two feet, but he's really one of the kindest people you'll ever meet. He's even one hundred percent honest. Brutally so, in fact. He's like the gay best friend every girl always wanted. He'll even go shopping with them out of the kindess of his heart. And he can keep secrets. Though that's mostly because he doesn't always understand the deep stuff people tend to whisper in his ear.

NAIVE AND EXTREMELY GULLIBLE - Definitely not the suave-type foreign. Thaiel is the kind of guy who will believe anything anyone will tell him, no matter what it is. Unless it's anything involving his homeland. Then you're the one that's screwed. Anything American, however, is game for setting him off his rocker and into the awful world of naivety and stupidity.

Thaiel Bernaldez grew up in Spain for the first fifteen years of his life, living life each painful day at a time. Having to spend all of his free time with his four older sisters and two younger sisters gave Thaiel the best fashion out of all the boys his age. That is, if sparkly lip gloss and bedazzled jeans counted as "fashionable". No, Thaiel was frequently bullied amongst his peers, and was rather effeminate throughout his childhood. That quickly changed when he moved away from home and discovered the wardrobe of the average American male. His first year in America was a bit like hell on earth, and definitely little to no communication with anyone around him, but recently, he's begun to find how easily he can fit in with the crowd.

Though Thaiel grew up as the only male in his family, he has always been hunter-material. His father was a hunter, and though neither his mother nor any of his sisters have any desire to get down and dirty with hunting demons and vampires and other terrible creatures, Thaiel loves the thrill of the chase. Even at age five while playing tag with all the neighborhood kids.
